Tim Holtz Bird Cage Like Die SVG File

Good afternoon my blog buddies...

We have beautiful weather today in Pittsburgh Pa..  high of 63 and sunny...  totally unlike January weather.  Normally we are knee deep in snow.  I got luck today and got the day off.  I took a vacation day.  I got to go on tour with my realty office to view new listings and had a great luncheon with my office.  Then I came home a little while ago, started some laundry and now I am playing.  Dinner is in my crock pot...  fix it and forget it deal  LOL.  I hope to get some crafting done today.  I am working on a junk mini album for a swap on YPP ning group.

Loretta from Your Paper Pantry ning group sent me some die cuts a couple months ago.  I don't have the Tim Holtz birdcage die and she sent some to me..  well...  I got smart.  I scanned the the birdcage, bird and wing.  Imported into my PSP and touched it up.  The birdcage didn't turn out as well as I hoped but when I imported into MTC I fixed it a little.  It is very close to the Tim Holtz version.  So, I am offering it to you today.  Have a good day everyone!

Sympathy Cards

Good Afternoon Blogland....  Just making a quick post today.  A week ago, two brothers who works with my BF Brian, they lost their mother.  So, I made each one a card.  Neither one likes much frilly so I kept the cards simple.

The first card I used my ink markers and colored a stamp image and then heat embossed.  Then I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.

The second card I used my small swiss dot border folder for the top and bottom.  I stamped a butterfly and colored it with color pencils.  Did a swirly design with baby blue liquid pearls and tied on a ribbon.

Santa Secret Swap From YPP

Hello everyone...   I didn't go into the real estate office for my floor time today..  double wami I guess you can say...  First, roads are not very good right now.  We got a nasty ice and snow storm early this morning.  There is probably 2 or 3 inches of ice under an inch of snow.  So, I stayed inside today, not that anyone would want to go see houses in this weather anyway.

The second thing is that I have a touch of something.  I started with a horrible cough on Thursday that continued into yesterday.  Thru the day I started feeling worse and worse.  I ran a fever all night.  The fever seem to have broken but I am sluggish.  I did still manage to clean up the house and getting some laundry done.  I want to do some crafting but just don't have the energy.

Anyhow....  while sitting here, wrapped up in my afghan my grandmother made me years ago,  I remembered about another orphan video that I shot last month and never got a round to uploading it...  I uploaded it today.
Hope you like it...  it is not the best...  still trying to master the taping thing.

Coffee Sleeve Mini Album Swap

Good morning blog country...  I just uploaded a new video to YouTube.  It is an old one from this past fall but just now got around to uploading it.  I had to edit it and I didn't like the software that came with my camcorder and for some reason I couldn't load it into my professional editing software.  But, I just got a new scanner for my birthday Thursday from my boyfriend and there was software that let me convert the video into a format that I could edit in my software.  I have another video that I will do in the next couple days.

Anyhow, this video is of a swap on Mini Album Scraps Ning Group.  This is the mini I received from my partner.  It was a coffee sleeve swap and the theme was steam punk. Thanks for watching!

Another MS Pine Branch SVG

Good evening everyone.  I was playing around and browsing images again tonight.  I found a jpg file that resembled the MS pine branch punch.  Played around and came up with another SVG file that is even more like the Martha Stewart punch.

Winter Wonderland Christmas Card

Good morning and Happy New Year everyone.  Hope everyone had a happy and save new year.  I am showcasing a card I made.  I just finished it up this morning.  In fact, I have to apologize for the pic.  I was running late and had to take the pic with my phone because I didn't have time to take it with my camera and email it to myself ...  almost didn't make it to work on time.  I logged in at work with 2 minutes to spare.. whewww.

I am entering this into a few challenges...

I cut the iceskates from an SVG file that I made ( I will upload that probably tomorrow).  The skates are similar to the ones on the Winterwoodland Cricut Cart.  I used brand new Martha Stewart Glitter Glue I just received (covers the use something new for one of the challenges). I used the glitter glue for the bows on the skates and the blades. It was a pack of like 24 colors.. love love love it.  It doesn't clog like my stickles does.

For another challenge I used a few things from my stash.  The background paper is old paper scrap from a DCWV paper stack that is about 2 yrs old.  The square mat and the scallop circle was cut from scraps also.

Entering this card in the following challenges:  (will be updating this as I enter the challenges.)

Gingerloft 30 - Christmas and Winter
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Ribbon and Sparkle
If The Shoe Fits Scrap It - Use Your Stash
Pile It On 2012 - Anything Goes
