Product Review... The Ultimate Crafter's Companion

Here is a tool for you to take a close look at.  It is an all in one paper crafting card making tool.

The Ultimate Crafters Companion. Everything you will ever need for your card making and paper craft projects in one handy and portable carry case. It builds on the features of the award winning Top Score and Enveloper tools and is designed to take your crafting onto the next level by providing an array of crafting utilities at your finger tips. Perfect for creating professional looking cards in a variety of imaginative styles: Pop out; K-card; embossed and classic. It was also designed to create boxes; trim paper; make envelopes; make bows; and even store your projects in progress. Also included is a video Tutorial DVD with Sara. Constructed of durable plastic with a double-hinge system that allows this unit to lie completely flat giving you approximately 14 by 23 inches of work surface. Everything stores quickly and easily inside so you can fold-n-go or fold-n-store in a hurry.

You get an envelope maker template, box templates, card templates, embossing templates,  bow maker, measuring and cutting tools.  Plus they have an awesome instructional DVD and booklet with step by step instructions which are easy to follow.  The  DVD has many projects to make.  I could spend hours playing with this tool.  It comes in a hard plastic case which is pretty sturdy and light weight.  You can take your card making crafts with you.  This tool is extremely portable.  It is not limited to card making.  There are tutorials and projects for creating exploding boxes and mini scrapbooks.

New Free SVG - Bow Easy

Remember that plastic gadget that was sold on TV for making the perfect bow.  I spent the time and created one in inkscape and created an svg file.  You do need to size it to where it almost, but not fully fills 1/4 of the 12 x 12 mat.

Cut it out of chipboard and it is just about as good as the real one made of plastic.

Free Font Management Software

Hey everyone...  gee how about that..  I am posting 2 days in a row.  Aren't you proud of me :)

If you are like me, you find all kinds of free fonts and dingbats that you like to use in your card making and scrapbooking projects.  I found so many that I want to cut that it is bogging down my computer with too many installed.  I discovered this program that lets me choose what fonts to install when I need them.  I cut down how many fonts load when my computer boots.  Below is the link

Swap and Challenge Organizer Sheet

I have decided to create a way to keep organized with my swaps and challenges..  at a glance I know what is due when and the group or blog the project is from.  I am sharing this with you in hopes you can benefit from it too.

The type on the image is hard to see..  but the first column is to label swap or challenge.  The next one is the due date.. then is the address of the blog or yahoo group it is for, then you can put in the details of the challenge or swap.  The last column is to write in your assigned Partner's name if it is a swap.

Let me know what you think..  do you find that useful?
